Ceylon Lovers Leap OP


Ceylon tea comes from the famous Lover's Leap Estate, one of the best tea gardens in Sri Lanka.

Grown at high altitude amongst steep hills you can be sure of tasting a wonderful piquant cup with real Ceylon Tea character.

This tea has been manufactured by using the traditional "Orthodox" techniques and with a short fermentation to preserve the quality of the tea and the delicate flavours.

This tea is a true Orange Pekoe grade. When you pour boiling water on this tea  you will see how the leaf
uncurls and expands quite dramatically, a process called “the agony of the leaf”.

A truly delightful, medium bodied, flavoursome tea.

Brewing:   Bring fresh drawn cold water to a boil. Place 1 heap teaspoon of loose tea into a teapot. Pour boiling water. Cover and let it brew for 3-7 minutes according to taste. (the longer the brewing time the stronger the taste). Add milk and sugar to taste.
